Eugen Borcan

Hello and welcome!
My name is Eugen Borcan and I am a UX Designer, Designer, UI developer and Accessibility SME.

I have an in depth understanding of cross browser compatibility issues, W3C web standards and WCAG compliance (mobile and desktop) and I am able to work in a variety of different environments using libraries and applications like Angular, GIT, Telerik, Kendo, Bootstrap, .NET, NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, etc.

I prefer minimalistic design and firmly believe in "less is more". I'm an independent thinker with fine attention to detail. I am able to stay focused on my task and I am always searching for new ways to improve myself.

I enjoy turning ideas into reality and being part of a project from beginning to end. This and the fact that I enjoy learning new things have made me want to get out of my "designer bubble" and learn more about coding so I can understand the other side of the coin as well. And by doing so, I've built a strong relation with front-end and back-end developers which helped me to deliver better designs that are flawlessly integrating with code.

By involving myself into front-end development and working in a tighter relation with back-end developers, it has provided me with the ability to not only handle the design aspects of a project, but to also fully understand its development steps, participate and even lead some of those projects.

My biggest passions are Photography, Drawing/Sketching, making bespoke fountain pens and Cycling.
